Research at WVRG: Contract Research

WVRG is an independent research organization that performs both basic and applied research into viral causes of human and veterinary disease. As an active Contract Research Organization (CRO), WVRG has a history of studies in:

  • the epidemiology of chronic wasting disease, a transmissible spongiform encephalopathy (TSE), in wild deer. More information about TSE's is available at the FDA site:

  • the study of feline calicivirus as a surrogate for the Norwalk viruses as environmental contaminants.
